Oh man there are some REFERENCES in here. I don't think I caught them all, it's 3.30 here and I'm exhausted. I dug it though!

My friend, I have 66 footnotes on references—both literary and historical—and other pop culture Easter eggs. Are the readers ready for such a deep dive? Hahaha, let’s wait a few days…

I loooove it 😍. We gotta see it!

Oh hell yeah. This slaps. Cyberpunk as fuck.

Thanks Zep—I’d like to believe Orwell and Gibson might nod and smile

The ridiculous number of footnotes is a nod to Alan Moore’s copious back-matter, in Watchmen of course, but especially in From Hell and LOEG

The 'unpairing' knife was very clever.

Thank you! My inspo: Black Mirror, S1 E3

I'm going to have to watch that someday.

That particular episode, or that whole series?

If the latter, I would say it had a lot of hits and a lot of misses for me. To solve this inconsistency I would read lots of non-spoilerish reviews to find the eps which sound appealing and start with those (they’re all standalone)

Yeah, I've seen a couple episodes from the first season and they seemed pretty interesting, I just never got around to watching the rest. I think that is good advice and I will heed it!

Orwellian in the best way. This rocks 😎

I appreciate your kind words, Jay! In a few days time I'll unleash a footnoted version, with my Author’s Annotations hahaha

Looking forward to that. This was a clever weave.

I don’t know what hell I’d rather exist in, this future or Idiocracy. I guess I’d choose to kill myself rather than submit tokens for the option to plug in to 1 of 6 holes so I’ll go with becoming the president or a homicidal maniac in Idiocracy

How far are we from this future though, KCG?
